Pats Rank at 2 on CBS Sportsline NFL Preseason Power Rankings

According to Pete Prisco, the Colts are still the team to beat.  He ranks the Patriots number two on his preseason power rankings…

PATRIOTS - #2 I love all the moves on offense, but have they really helped the defense all that much? That was the trouble spot in the loss to the Colts.

I have to disagree with Pete Prisco, that the Patriots haven’t helped their defense all that much.  I don’t know what transaction wire he was looking at, but the Pats have made tremendous strides on defense.  They acquired Adalius Thomas and Tory James via free agency, assigned Asante the franchise tag, and picked up a top-10 talent in Brandon Meriweather.  I’m not complaining about the Pats ranking at number two, they didn’t win the Superbowl so that’s where they deserve to be, however, I don’t like that explanation.

    I agree with you. We have substantially helped our defense.

    pats suck they are so gay. they will do nothing this season. tom brady will tear an acl and randy moss will do nothing. im really funny the colts rock and im so cool even tho im a piece of crap
